Getting the most out of your Nosebuds
A quick welcome before you start. If you're pregnant, have a respiratory condition, or any health concerns, check with your healthcare provider first.

What's inside the box
Your box includes Nosebuds and docking case, USB charging cable, a nosetips kit with multiple sizes, and your Quick Start Guide.

Finding your fit
Check the fit of your nosebuds. They should feel comfortable within your nose, creating a gentle seal without the potential of falling out during use.
To find the best fit for you, remove the silicone tips from the Nosebuds and replace with a provided alternative size.

Turning on
Press and hold the power symbol for one second to turn on. You'll hear a light hum as the rotors start spinning.
To turn off, hold again for 3 seconds until the hum stops.

Using your Nosebuds
With Nosebuds fitted and powered on, relax and breathe gently through your nose, mouth closed, from your belly.
Aim for two 10-minute sessions or one 20-minute session a day.

Charging Nosebuds
Make sure Nosebuds are switched off, place them in the case, and connect the USB cable to power.
A full charge takes about 90 minutes and gives up to 60 minutes of use.

Cleaning Nosebuds
Remove the silicone tips and wash them in warm, soapy water.
Rinse the Nosebuds themselves under running water (or give them a swish), then let everything air dry before your next use.
Wipe the case with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.
Common Questions
Here's more detail on getting the most from your Nosebuds, grouped so you can jump to what you need.
How Nosebuds work
The science behind the hum, plus what they're designed to help with.
Nosebuds sit comfortably just inside the nostrils, and create a gentle vibroacoustic hum as you breathe.
his stimulates the motile cilia (tiny hair-like structures) inside the nose, supporting its natural process of clearing mucus, allergens, and irritants more efficiently — which helps ease congestion.
Nosebuds hum gently as you breathe in and out through your nose. Some people notice a slight tickling sensation at first, but most find this is just an initial experience as you get used to them
Many users describe the hum as calming.
Nosebuds are clinically validated to help relieve congestion and symptoms associated with: blocked nose, sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, allergies and hay fever, colds and flu, post-nasal drip, and ongoing nasal congestion.
They're designed to support clearer nasal breathing and healthy nasal function.
By supporting clearer nasal breathing, Nosebuds can help improve your overall sleep quality, reduce stress and tension, promote relaxation, and enhance mental clarity. They also encourage more effective, healthy breathing habits.
Using Nosebuds
Here's what we recommend and what you can expect.
Nosebuds sit comfortably just inside the nostrils, anytime congestion relief is needed. Breathe through your nose, with your mouth closed.. If they feel uncomfortable, that usually points to a tip-sizing issue (see Quick Fixes).
For best results: 2x 10-minute sessions per day, or 1 x 20-minute session daily, used consistently — many people find it convenient before bed, during a commute, or while relaxing.
Many people notice clearer nasal airflow during or shortly after just 10 minutes of use.
Results vary depending on the cause and severity of congestion, but sustained congestion relief will typically begin after continued and regular use.
We don't recommend it, mainly because the battery may run flat during extended overnight use.
Using them for 10 to 20 minutes right before bed is highly recommended, though — many users find this pre-sleep routine helps clear their nasal passages and supports a better, more restful night's sleep.
Generally, yes. Nosebuds are completely drug-free and work by stimulating the body's natural nasal clearing mechanisms, so they complement medical treatments without drug interactions.
If you have a specific medical condition or concern, it's worth checking with your healthcare provider.
Charging & Care
A little care goes a long way.
- Turn Nosebuds off (hold the power button for 3 seconds until the hum stops).
- Place them in the case, close the lid.
- Plug the supplied USB-C cable into the case and then into power for 90 minutes.
Nosebuds won't charge properly unless switched off first.
A full charge gives you about 60 minutes of use. Depending on your routine (two 10-minute sessions or one 20-minute session a day), a single charge typically lasts around 3 days of regular use.
- Remove the silicone tips and wash them in warm water.
- Rinse Nosebuds under running water or give them a swish in warm, soapy water. Allow to dry thoroughly before charging or using.
- The case isn't waterproof, so wipe it with a damp cloth only and never submerge it.
Quick Fixes
Using Nosebuds is a new experience for most, here's a few common things users run into. A quick tweak is usually all it takes.
Confirm Nosebuds are charged (that's the most common cause).
- Pop them in the case (make sure they're off first), close the lid.
- Charge for a full 90 minutes.
Just cleaned Nosebuds?
- Make sure they were completely dry before charging, leftover moisture can interfere.
- Hold the power button for 3 seconds as if turning it off, wait a second, then try turning it on again (1-second hold).
Still nothing at all, no light and no hum? Reach out to us using the contact form below.
The most common cause we see from Nosebuds not charging, is they were still switched on when placed in the case. The orange light on the Nosebuds themselves (not the case) only shows when they're still on and need charging, so if that light was on when they were in the case, that's the tell.
Here's the fix:
- Hold the power button for 3 seconds until the hum fully stops.
- Place them in the case (tips off, lid closed).
- Charge for a full 90 minutes.
Still not charging after that? Reach out to us using the contact form below.
First check: Do the rotors just look stopped in different positions? That's completely normal — each one stops independently when powered off, not a fault.
If the rotors do seem unresponsive:
- Remove the silicone tips and wash them in warm water.
- Rinse Nosebuds under running water or give them a swish in warm, soapy water. Allow to dry thoroughly.
- Once completely dry, charge Nosebuds fully (90 minutes) before re-testing.
If the rotors still seem stuck, reach out to us using the contact form below.
Everyone's experience with congestion is a little different. Some people notice a change quickly, for others it's more gradual.
We recommend committing to at least 20 minutes a day for two consecutive weeks first, and double check the basics:
- Is the tip size giving you a snug, comfortable seal? If not, try some other tip sizes till you find the right fit.
- When wearing Nosebuds, are you breathing through your nose with your mouth closed?
- Have you tried using Nosebuds before bed?
No solution works 100% of the time for everyone. If you are still finding no improvement after trying the above steps, you're covered by our 30-day guarantee. Just reach out to us using the contact form below.
